Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited proposes to upgrade and expand its existing manufacturing facilities located at Kachigam, Daman. It would involve an investment outlay of about Rs 85 crore to be invested in phases over next three financial years in machinery, utilities and other fixed assets. The funding is proposed to come mainly from internal resources.

Arrangements on the acquisition of factory building and measuring built up area of about 100,000 square feet is being finalised. This would ensure growth of existing product lines and facilitate manufacturing of high-end high-output mono and multilayer film plants and bag on roll equipment, a new product line for the company.

Technical support to these new manufacture plants will be provided from Gloucester Engineering Company, a US-based manufacturer and exporter of such plants.
