Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has won an order from Elena Power & Infrastructure Ltd (EPIL), a company of the Indiabulls Group for setting up two greenfield Thermal Power Projects (TPP) at Nasik (5×270 MW) and Amravati (5×270 MW), both in Maharashtra.
The company’s scope of work in the contract envisages design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of steam turbines, generators and boilers, along with associated auxiliaries and electricals, besides state-of-the-art Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) and Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs).
The order is worth Rs 5,778 crore. |
