Muthoot Leisure and Hospitality Services (MLHS) plans to expand its business by adding two more resorts within a span of 15-24 months. The company, which is a division of Muthoot M George Enterprises, would invest around Rs 200 crore for acquiring land in various states. The company has already acquired land for setting up a resort in Tamil Nadu.

The upcoming beach resort, coming up on 20 acres, at Mararikkulam in Alappuzha district of Kerala will be commissioned in 15 months.

MLHS had also planned to start a farm-based resort at Panangad village on six acres. The company will add ten more housing boats to its present fleet with a total investment in a range of Rs 3.5-4 crore.
