Suzlon Energy Ltd has bagged an order from Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) to set up, operate and maintain its 52.5 MW wind energy project in the Rajkot and Porbandar districts of Gujarat.

The project will be supplied in 35 units of Suzlon's model S82-1.5 MW wind turbine generators and is scheduled to be completed and commissioned by July 2010.

The power generation from this project will be purchased by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with GSPL.
